September 2007 Voith Industrial Services Indumont is commissioned by BP Gelsenkirchen GmbH to handle “turnarounds” for Ruhr Oel GmbH, a joint venture owned by Deutsche BP AG and Petroleos de Venezuela SA. The order involves temporarily deactivating parts of refineries in order to modernize them, improve availability and safety, and perform pipeline construction work.
French national rail operator SNCF adds an extra 1 500 wheelset transmissions to an existing order for 1 000 transmissions for its AGC regional passenger transport trains, bringing the total order volume to 2 500.

The work is coordinated closely with the customer and the fire department, enabling production to recommence in short order.
The first of a total of 240 locomotives from DLoco, all fitted with wheelset transmissions from Voith Turbo, is officially presented to the Chinese Ministry of Railways.
